FLOOD CONTROL DEPT. Local lodge 2305 serves 76,000 taxpayers in the City of Scranton. During the last few years the Dept of Public Works is in the process of changing the way we provide services to the general public. From new equipment to a new 3 million dollar facility we will now be able to handle all of the daily activities that are called upon us. From snowstorms to the filling of potholes, from taking care of 32 recreational sites, to picking up 36,000 tons of refuse. Since 1987 the Dept of Public Works has had a recycling program that now saves the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in landfill fees. Local lodge 2305 is willing and able to provide the necessary services that the taxpayers of Scranton deserve.
